Certified Level 1 barrier face masks are designed to help reduce patient or healthcare worker exposure from wearer-generated microorganisms. Level 2 Fluid Resistant Surgical Mask
Level 2 face masks are surgical masks for known higher risk patients and procedures involving moderate levels of spray, splatter and airborne particles such as endodontic or periodontic procedures, bleaching and medical or Laboratory work with exposure to blood or contaminated materials.
The outer blue, non-woven, fluid resistant fabric is pleated and formed with a middle layer of meltblown material which provides superior fluid resistance.
The inner layer is a lint-free, hygroscopic non-woven layer to eliminate irritation.
The ear loops are ultrasonically welded to the mask to meet European, US, NZ and Australian Standards.
The nose strip is malleable to conform to the face for a good seal.

N95 Medical Respirator Mask – Level 2 – Sterile packaged
For COVID-19 the use of N95 masks should be reserved for situations where the risk assessment is high and places the patient and operator in airborne precautions including dental and /or maxillo-facial procedures. When there is high probability of airborne transmission, due to the infectious agent or procedure, or prolonged contact with critically ill patients, sound scientific principles support the use of a Level 2 Medical Respirator mask to prevent transmission.
The N95 mask ties at the crown and the bottom of the head with a pliable metal nose bridge for an effective seal. Respirators should not have gaps between the respirator and the face.
